The Clearwater Community Sailing Center, located on Sand Key, is operated by the Clearwater
Community Sailing Association Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, in partnership with
the City of Clearwater.
Our Mission
The Clearwater Community Sailing Center is dedicated to providing safe, enriching and
affordable sailing opportunities to local residents and visitors; including youth, seniors,
and the disabled, for the benefit of the entire community.

Membership
If you truly love the sport of sailing, and live in the area or visit often, you should
consider becoming a full time member of CCSC. Consider some of the benefits of annual membership:
- 10% discount on hourly boat rental, facilities rental, sail instruction, and many other programs
- Free Participation in CCSC weekly and monthly regattas
- Unlimited Annual Boat Usage is available to annual members
- Boat storage is available to members
Daily memberships are available for guests and short-term visitors.
Learn to Sail
The Clearwater Community Sailing Center is a great place to learn to sail or improve your
skills. All sailing instruction is provided under the direction of U.S. Sailing certified instructors.
Group Lessons
Group lessons are tailored to your needs and goals. Special resort packages are also available.

When Pinellas County Schools are off, check to see if CCSC is offering one of our many
Schools Out programs.
Summer Programs
CCSC IS the perfect place for your child to spend some time each summer. They can build
their sailing skills each summer and enjoy using them for a lifetime. Call to register or

Youth Adventure Sail
This unique half day adventure introduces youth to the world of sailing. Youth Adventure
sailors get to sail a boat, visit local islands, and interact with many of the natural
wonders of Clearwater Bay.
